It includes his work as chairman of the Federal-State Joint Committee on Definitions and Standards; chemist for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Foods and Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture; president of the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists; chairman of the National Pure Food and Drug Congress; and his role in drafting state and federal Pure Food Laws.
